Given correct command by computer, the powerful Zwick 1484 is capable of conducting tension/compression tests at various strain rates and temperatures successfully. Also, it can transform itself into different setups to fulfill special tasks, i.e. CCD; therefore, deformation behaviour, texture and microstructure evolution of materials can be analysed.
