Schenck Hydropuls PSB 250

The advantage of Schenck Hydropuls PSB 250 is the elevated temperature experimental chamber, in which the tension/compression tests can be conducted under inert gas/vacuum atmosphere with maximum temperature 1100°C. Microstructure and texture evolution, as well as mechanical properties are revealed during dynamic recrystallization.

Application:
  • tension and compression tests at constant true strain rate
  • tension and compression tests at constant load
  • transient strain rate deformation tests
  • cyclic deformation experiments
Technical data:
  • vacuum chamber
  • molybdenum rods
  • high temperature extensometer (MTS)
  • quenching device (Helium)
